What is Modesta ?
Modesta is a small, boutique manufacturer of high-end paint protection coatings based in Takamatsu, Japan. Through the years, Modesta has gained worldwide reputation for engineering the most exclusive products in the segment, while staying true to values, that have shaped not only our business but the whole industry.

The company traces its origins back to 2005, being one of the oldest companies in the business of automotive coatings. As a pioneer of the industry, Modesta was the first to introduce a series of innovations, nowadays mimicked by many competitors, including mandatory infra-red curing, products only available to meticulously trained professionals, conferences with global attendance and many others.
BC-08
NEOSILLICA MATRIX COATING
An easy coating for quick application on daily driven vehicles. Traces of zirconium create great shine and luster on the paint while it's three dimensional matrix ensures excellent water repellency and self cleaning. The coating's thick layer acts as a self scarifying barrier to protect the finish of the vehicle from scratches and marring as well as adverse environmental effects.
BC-X
PAINT COATING
BC-X is Modesta’s middle option for the protection of your vehicle. Placed between BC-08 and other coatings of our range, it offers excellent costs to performance ratio of the whole line. BC-X will improve the shine, gloss and overall look of your vehicle on the painted parts and refresh and protect plastic parts as well. Its exceptional hydrophobic water behavior will help to keep your vehicle clean for weeks with minimal maintenance requirements.
BC-04
NANO-TITANIUM GLASS COATING
A coating that combines the best advantages of the original Pure Liquid Glass coatings and highest quality nanograde titanium. This combination creates a deeper shine and better reflections on the paint. A significantly prolonged working time also allows easier and safer application.
The inorganic nature of the coating makes it fully resistant to oxidation. The hard physical barrier it creates also prevents paint from coming into contact with air and acts as a antiscratch protectant.
Modesta BC-04 is capable to withstand temperatures of up to 900 °C.
BC-05
ADVANCED WATER-REPELLENT GLASS COATING
Modesta BC-05 is a unique glass coating based on a three-dimensional molecular frame. It forms a highly durable clear hard glass layer on automotive paints.
BC-05 produces a deep shine and helps to protect the paint from all kinds of damage including wash-induced damages, scratches, oxidation, sap, watermarks, salts, acids and even permanent ink and paints. It's strong water-repellent properties also promote the self-cleaning effects.
Used stand-alone as a sealant, BC-05 produces an unique kind of gloss called the "candy-like" gloss. If combined with the P-01A primer this effect is even deeper as the layers of both products are combined to a single coat.
The coating also reduces drag by 5 km/h compared to regular paint at speeds over 60 km/h (drag coefficient: -0.02). It can be applied even to the most advanced and sophisticated paints, such as Nissan Scratch Shield, Lexus' self-restoring coat and Mercedes ceramic paint.
PRIVATE LABEL
PL
The very best Modesta has to offer. Private Label combines the advantages of both organic and inorganic technologies, thus delivering unprecedented shine, protection, resistance and self-cleaning effect.
The Private Label consists of two separate parts - an extremely thick and hard inorganic base coat and a super hydrophobic organic top coat. Both of them combine together during the application to form one durable protective layer, resistant to tar and asphalt from the roads, corrosion, oxidation, chemicals and mechanical damage.
Modesta Private Label requires regular maintenance and yearly renewal. It delivers protection for up to 10 years and is especially suitable for the most exclusive vehicles that can take advantage of professional care.
BC-M
MATTE PAINT COATING
BC-M is a coating solution designed specifically for matte and satin surfaces – automotive paints as well as wraps and films, which has been tested for many years, with its development starting in 2017. It is a one component coating with dry application and expected durability of Modesta’s standard 3-10 years. The application of the coating provides excellent protection to matte surfaces with minimal added shine and enhanced saturation.

BC-06
HEAT RESISTANT HARD GLASS COATING FOR WHEELS AND BODY
Stain-resistance and ease of cleaning thanks to the hardness of the coating film are the most prominent characteristics of the BC-06 glass coating. This thin silica film made from perhydropolysilazane protects the car body and wheels from dust in raindrops that may penetrate soft paints or other painted surfaces and can be removed only with great effort. Thanks to the BC-06 protection washing is required less frequently.
BC-06 undergoes a chemical reaction when it comes in contact with a painted surface, creating a hard glass coating. It has a tightly packed molecular structure that creates a solid, long-lasting surface. BC-06 is heatproof up to 1,300 °C - enough to protect wheels from burning-hot brake dust.
This coating is applied with a paint gun with a nitrous oxide propellant.

EPC
EXTERIOR PLASTIC COATING
The Modesta Exterior Plastic Coating is a unique blend of ingredients restoring uncoated exterior plastic parts of automobiles and other vehicles, by adding saturation and color depth. On weathered plastic parts with faded color, it will restore the original look and feel of the surface. At the same time, it will add protection against UV radiation and oxidation, thus prolonging the longevity of the material.
The EPC is a state-of-the-art solution to protect the factory new plastic parts of vehicles as well, as it will not significantly modify the looks and feel of the plastic, while providing long term protection to them.
The EPC contains no dyes.
EGC
EXTERIOR GLASS COATING
A carefully formulated blend of silica resins, that add a microscopic hydrophobic layer on the surface of exterior glass of motor vehicles, which improves the visibility while driving through rain and helps in keeping the windscreen clean by inhibiting adhesion of insects, grime and other dirt to the glass.
The hydrophobic characteristics of the coating also aid in removal of ice and snow in winter weather. The kit contains 30ml of the coating itself, which should be enough for the treatment of all windows and both side mirrors on two average size vehicles. The kit further contains 15g of highest grade instant cerium oxide powder, prepared with suspension agents and emulsifiers, which is used as a abrasive deep cleaning agent before application of the coating itself. The powder comes in a 80ml bottle and is ready to be used after adding 50ml of water a shaking well.

LEATHER PROTECTION SYSTEM
The Modesta Leather Protection System delivers exceptional protection to all leather and leather like surfaces in interiors of motor vehicles. This two component system is the only in the market that protects the precious surfaces from both - penetration by liquids and dirt as well as abrasion.
The Base Protection stops liquids from penetrating into the surface, reduces color transfer and makes cleaning of the surface easier with less chemicals required.
The Slider Abrasion Protection is a unique top coat designed especially for Modesta's Leather Protection System. It reduces surface friction on exposed parts of interiors (for example seat bolsters). Due to the reduced surface friction the exposed parts will last longer without showing signs of the usual wear and tear.
This ensures longer durability of the surfaces and thus preserves the value of the vehicle.

M3FIRE
WATER SPOT REMOVER
Highly effective, quick product to remove water spot issues from coated (and other) surfaces in a regular maintenance scenario. Safe for automotive and marine paint, polycarbonates (i.e. headlights or motorcycle windshields), plastics, trim, glass, ceramic, stone and other surfaces. Easy to use under all conditions, easy to wipe off with no residue and smearing and minimal product usage. Safe to use and specifically designed for Modesta coatings.
Modesta M3FIRE is the only product of it's kind on the market that is close to pH neutral!
M4SMOKE
WET APPLICATION CONDITIONER
M4 SMOKE contains a unique blend of surfactants and polymers, providing the product with unique properties. It is a wet application conditioner for regular maintenance of Modesta coatings, designed to clean the nano-scale structure of a coating layer. The polymers in the product utilize the so-called PoPPR (Polymer on Polymer Pollution Removal) - an approach comparable to how contact lenses cleaning solutions work.
Unlike competitive products, M4 does not add hydrophobicity to a surface and is unique in the detailing industry.
Easy to use, it is the perfect day-to-day coating conditioner used during washing.
M5FLAME
HEAVY DUTY CONTAMINATION REMOVER
Highly concentrated liquid effective in removing heavy contaminants like water spots, tree sap, iron deposits, tar and many others from the surfaces of coated and non-coated vehicles. Quick and easy to use, wipes off without leaving and streaks or residue. If used on larger surfaces it should be rinsed down with a pressure washer or hose.
Safe for using on Modesta coated vehicles when needed (regular maintenance should be performed with M3 if required).
